Tiberium Wars GDI Mammoth Mk.

well, this is a wallpaper I had since I've fixed the PC. This artwork was made by a C&C fan called Nephlite. U'll could find it in the Apoc's Corner in the Command & Conquer site.

I remember playing this GDI vehicle first in Tiberian Dawn in 1996 when I was 12 years old (I feel sorry for my keyboard back then, you know, I think the PC suffered in my presence when I played ) . Although powerful enough to blow up an entire Temple of Nod and a Obelisk of Light by itself , I never liked the Mammoth Mk. very much. It's moves pretty slow, the turret lacks accuracy shooting targets (ground one less than air targets ) and is really easy to flank.

The 2nd one (Tiberian sun), remind me the vehicles used in the Empire Strikes Back. Man, that was a four-legged nightmare with the rail guns, slaughting every single Nod presence.... But it's moves slower than the coffee machine in a bad day in my work, giving as result easy to fall.
Damn, a coffin moves faster, even without wheels.

Now this one, in the Tiberium Wars era, shows the Mammoth in it's full glory. It's a long tank easier to maneuver than the previous one, and with the railsguns cannons upgrade, U can do some serious damage

When I see this artwork, is like a dream come true, U know?: Anime and a great strategy game like this one comes together, creates a new feeling in how the Tiberian Universe looks like. And I think is good to see how fans gives life this whole thing. This one is the real universe of C&C, in my opinion.
